Eva Kwong

Eva Kwong was born in Hong Kong and earned her BFA in ceramics and sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1975. In 1977, she completed her MFA in ceramics and drawing from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kwong has lectured both nationally and internationally including Australia, China, Japan, Korea and Italy. Her compelling, colorful and biomorphic sculptures, vessels and installations have been exhibited all around the United States and in Asia, Europe and South America. She is the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, Ohio Arts Council, Arts Midwest, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Consortium.
