Christi Birchfield

Christi Birchfield was born in 1983 in Cleveland, Ohio, where she currently lives and works. She earned her BFA in printmaking in 2006 from Cleveland Institute of Art and continued her studies at Columbia University, where she earned an MFA in visual art in 2010. She attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in the summer of 2010.

Currently, Birchfield is a full-time visiting artist and lecturer in the Foundation Department at CIA. Her work is included in the permanent print and drawing collection at the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and the Westin Cleveland Hotel. She has exhibited her work both nationally and internationally in Cleveland, New York, New Orleans, and Qijiang, China.
